An exciting championship battle begins to form in the GT Academy as Harry Gamble will look to keep his lead against double Silverstone winner James Nicholas.
Elite Motorsport’s Harry Gamble currently leads the rookie championship, taking second place in both Silverstone races. He’ll look to make the most of Donington. Teammate Ali Juffali had his best race weekend yet, finishing 5th in both races after making up multiple positions. We hope to see more of his pace this weekend.
James Nicholas (W2R) came away from Silverstone with two race wins, putting him second in the championship by just 13 points. He’ll be looking to repeat his success and take the top spot.
The three Tomlinson sisters, Amy, Emma and Lucy are looking forward to racing at Donington Park. They’ll be joined by Welsh rookie Lucie Hodgson and the returning Charlotte Lowe.
Mike Taylor (W2R) sits third in the rookie championship after taking a podium at Silverstone. Close behind, Luke Shaw (Raceway Motorsport) also secured a podium and sits fourth. Who will end the weekend in the top three?
Julian Wantling (E3 Sport) and Marc Elman (SVG Motorsport) shared wins at Silverstone. Wantling currently leads the GT Academy championship with Elman not far behind.
Joining Mike West at E3 Sport, Jamie Caudle makes his racing debut in the rookie class.
