2022 GTA Rookie Champion, Ravi Ramyead is set to compete in the 2023 GT Academy Championship, teamed with Century Motorsport. Ravi returns to the grid for his second full season in the G56 GTA race car following a dominating performance in the Rookie class last year- only missing out on claiming class victory on two occasions.
The driver celebrated championship glory at Donington Park in October for the first time in his maiden car-racing campaign. The rapid racer entered 13 races with 10 class wins (Rookie) and 12 podiums despite no prior racing history.
Hoping to defend his Championship winning streak, Ravi Ramyead enters the GTA class this season, which will see the racer rival with former Rookies in contention for the 2023 GT Academy Championship title.
Ravi Ramyead:
“It’s great to be working with Century Motorsport for the next leg of my driving career. I have been really impressed by not just their breadth and depth of experience, but also their professionalism.”
“By combining what Century bring to the party with my work ethic we should be able to achieve some great results together. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
Nathan Freke, Team Principal, Century Motorsport:
“It’s great to have a signing like Ravi. We raced against him last year and we saw just how fast he was. His work ethic is unreal and is clearly naturally talented when it comes to racing.”
“We’ve had a huge testing programme together. Our objective is to win the championship with him, and hopefully have a successful future together.”
