Leo Robinson steps onto the Ginetta motorsport ladder to compete in the Junior Championship series with Alastair Rushforth Motorsport. At just 14-years-old, Leo will be one of the younger drivers, and one of the most successful karting graduates on the grid.
Aged just 7 years-old, Leo claimed the British Karting Bambino Championship title. Since then, the rising star has twice been the British National Champion and is the reigning Italian Champion in the OKJ class. He has also won major international races such as the MENA Championship and I-Games. Leo has over 100 karting trophies in his collection.
After a strong racing career over the past 8 years, Leo takes the leap from kart tracks to race tracks in 2023. Joining the Ginetta Junior Championship grid this season, the young driver will race under his maternal nation, Algeria.
Leo Robinson said; “I have been racing karts for eight years, across many categories, and I am now really looking forward to the challenge of racing cars on full sizes circuits.“
“Having just turned 14, I am taking this chance at the earliest opportunity. My goals for this year are to learn and perform credibly, building on my karting successes.”
