A front-running team in Caterham racing for a number of years, CTS Motorsport are a welcome addition to the Ginetta family for 2020 and will be running Golding in his quest to become a three-time Ginetta champion.
The Northampton-based driver won the 2017 Ginetta Racing Drivers Club title in his maiden car-racing campaign, before taking eight victories on his way to the G40 Cup title. Last year, he contested three rounds of the Ginetta GT5 Challenge and secured a best result of seventh.
Croft meanwhile has recently raced in Caterhams with the CTS Motorsport team, while former success included title glory in the 2015 Porsche 924 Championship. Off-track, he is the founder of the SIMTrack Driver Performance Centre based at Ginetta HQ.
Mark Ashman, team boss: “It’s fantastic to have Tom and Adam on board. Tom knows the Ginetta well; he has won two championship titles to prove that. Although Adam is fairly new to the Ginetta, we have worked together for a number of years. He is an accomplished racing driver, with a number of accolades to his name.”
The Ginetta G40 Cup is an ideal platform for drivers who have recently discarded their ‘novice’ plates to learn the ropes in a packed grid full of drivers of similar ability and experience. Popular with graduates from the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club (GRDC), the series races in support of British GT.
