The two-time Ginetta G40 Cup title-winning team made their Junior debut last season with Wheeler (17, Lancashire). In his debut Ginetta campaign, he showed strong progression through the year and capped it off with a top ten breakthrough in the penultimate round at Snetterton.
Dodds (14, Yorkshire) and Reynolds (14, Wales) were two of the star performers in the recent Ginetta Junior Scholarship. Both hugely impressed the judges and from 65 entrants, they reached the final four and narrowly missed out on glory.
Dodds moves into car-racing with a great karting pedigree, enjoying a lot of success across Europe and representing the UK in the FIA CIK Academy Series. Reynolds meanwhile has made a name for himself in UK Minimax karting, including being the top rookie in the 2019 British Kart Championship.
Jim Edwards, team manager: “The whole team at Assetto Motorsport are delighted to be expanding our presence in the Ginetta Juniors this year. We had a great first season with Joe [Wheeler] and can’t wait to see what we can achieve in 2021.

His pace was clear to see immediately despite his lack of car experience, and we are excited to be able to provide Max with the car and surroundings he requires to succeed in Ginetta Juniors.
“We are equally excited to welcome Harri [Reynolds] to the team. His raw speed immediately caught our attention during the Scholarship. Harri has had a successful karting background and we are looking forward to helping him to continue this in Ginetta Juniors.”
The Ginetta Junior Championship is the UK’s longest running and most prestigious Junior series, offering the first step on the motorsport ladder for 14-17 year old racing drivers as they compete on the support bill for the British Touring Car Championship.
