A historic success with Tom Lebbon last year continued the team’s remarkable recent record in the championship. That was their fourth consecutive drivers’ title in the main championship, alongside three victories in a row in the Winter Series.
Leading their charge for more success will be Seb Hopkins (15, Hampshire) and Tommy Pintos (15, Spain), who impressively finished fifth and seventh in the championship last year in their debut Ginetta Junior campaigns.
Hopkins had a great record of finishing outside the top ten only three times all season and scored an overall podium breakthrough in the season finale. Pintos meanwhile was one of the top overtakers on the grid last year as he too scored an outright top three result and regular rookie podiums.
Two other drivers are returning to the grid from last year. Will Jenkins (16, Staffordshire) enjoyed an strong first season, scoring two rookie podiums and a best result of fourth, while Joe Warhurst (15, South Yorkshire) will tackle a first full campaign after contesting two rounds in 2020.
After running an all-rookie entry last year, Elite house two new talents this time around. Karting graduates Josh Rowledge (15, Dorset) and Max Hall (13, Gloucestershire) both have some experience in a Ginetta G40 after reaching the final day of the recent Junior Scholarship event.

It’s been enjoyable working with all of our drivers during the winter and I can’t wait to share their success during the season.”
The Ginetta Junior Championship is the UK’s longest running and most prestigious Junior series, offering the first step on the motorsport ladder for 14-17 year old racing drivers as they compete on the support bill for the British Touring Car Championship.
