The Lincolnshire-based team stormed to the Ginetta G40 Cup title last season with Tom Golding, scoring an incredible tally of nine race wins along the way. Buoyed by that success, they will once again challenge for silverware in the G40 Cup classes this year.
Bren Maude joins the team for 2021 as he progresses up the Ginetta ladder following a brilliant debut racing campaign in the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club (GRDC) last year. The Halifax-based racer scored 12 podium finishes across the campaign, including a triple win at Donington Park.
Following the same path as Maude is Michael Johnston, who also made his racing bow in GRDC last year and now takes the step up to the G40 Cup. The Scotsman only tackled two events, but made his mark with a rookie class podium finish in his first race and four other top six finishes.
Completing their line-up is Adam Croft, who has raced with the team for a number of years in Caterhams. The Yorshireman, who is the founder of the SIMTrack Driver Performance Centre based at Ginetta HQ, also scored a top ten finish during a one-off outing in the G40 Cup last season.

We have big shoes to fill this season, and with Bren, Michael and Adam in the fold, we have a strong and competitive line up.”

We have worked closely with Adam for many years, we know the level of talent and skill he brings to the paddock and it’s great to have him onboard.”
Packed grids and close racing makes the Ginetta GT5 Challenge a popular entry-level championship for many aspiring GT racers. In 2021, the series will compete across both British GT and British Touring Car Championship weekends, sharing a grid with the G40 Cup.
