The Ginetta Junior Championship will make its first ever visit to the legendary Circuit Zandvoort this year, with the blockbuster overseas event over the weekend of 26/27 July completing an exciting calendar of Ginetta racing for 2025.
A fantastic addition to the schedule for the milestone 20th anniversary season of the Ginetta Junior Championship, the trip to the current home of the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix will see the Juniors racing on an international F1 circuit for the first time.
Zandvoort will become the 15th different circuit that the Junior Championship has visited in the two decades since its inception. It will be the first overseas round for the series since outings at French venue Croix-en-Ternois in 2005 and 2006.
A packed grid of teenage talents are sure to provide exhilarating racing on the 2.646-mile Zandvoort circuit, which will provide a fascinating challenge for their racing education with its unique banked turns, sweeping high-speed bends and undulating terrain.
Ginetta is no stranger to the picturesque circuit, which is nestled in the sand dunes north of Zandvoort on the North Sea coast line. The GT5 Challenge and G40 Cup raced there back in 2017 and 2019, with the circuit immediately becoming a firm favourite for the Ginetta paddock.
The trip to Zandvoort finalises the 2025 Ginetta racing calendar. Thanks to its successful longstanding partnership with SRO Motorsport Group, Ginetta’s three championships will once again be primarily playing a starring role alongside the British GT Championship for all its domestic rounds.
Alongside those events at the leading circuits in the United Kingdom, including Donington Park, Oulton Park, Silverstone and Brands Hatch, there are two additional events for the Juniors. Zandvoort is joined by the championship’s return to Croft for the first time since 2022.
