Preview: Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 SuperCup, Round Four, Oulton Park

Harry King has landed at the top of the Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 SuperCup points standings as the championship heads into Oulton Park this weekend.

King (Elite Motorsport) produced a dominant display last time out at Croft, with a pair of race wins moving the Ginetta Junior graduate onto four victories for the season so far and with it a 33 point championship lead atop the standings.

His closest challengers come in the shape of Tom Hibbert (Triple M Motorsport) and Will Burns (Rob Boston Racing). Hibbert picked up his second victory of the campaign in Yorkshire to move up to second in the points, while Burns notched his fourth podium finish to date.

Heading to Cheshire in confident mood is Mike Epps, who put together his best weekend of the season so far at Croft and now has five podiums to his name. Carlito Miracco (Privateer) and Simon Rudd (Rob Boston Racing) are also in positive spirits after taking their maiden top three results.

Reece Somerfield (Elite Motorsport) endured a difficult weekend however and is determined to bounce back in style this weekend, while Fin Green (Total Control Racing) and Tom Barley (Team HARD) hope good luck will be on their side as they each aim to end a tough run of results.

An exciting addition to the grid this weekend comes in the form of series returnee Declan Jones, driving for his own team. Competing in his home event, the Liverpudlian has a strong history in the GT4 SuperCup and was a two-time race-winner in 2017.

The Am Class meanwhile has been incredibly competitive so far this season, with nine different drivers having finished on the podium so far and only 60 points separating the top seven in the standings, which are led by Nathan Heathcote (Century Motorsport).

A great display at Croft saw him take back the points lead with a podium hat-trick, which included a third win of the season. The in-form driver in the class though is Colin White, with three wins in the last five races meaning he has now accrued an incredible 51 Am Class victories.

Former points leader Darron Lewis (Team HARD) secured his fifth top three result of the season so far at Croft, James Kell (Rob Boston Racing) picked up a maiden pole position and third podium finish, while Carl Garnett (AK Motorsport) picked up his first piece of class silverware.

Dan Kirby (Rob Boston Racing), Jack Oliphant (Century Motorsport) and Lee Frost (Declan Jones Racing) are aiming to add to their podium tallies this weekend, while the consistent Lucky Khera (Declan Jones Racing) and Peter Bassill (Century Motorsport) are targeting breakthrough successes.
