Aston Millar (R Racing) is currently the driver to beat atop the points standings. A remarkably consistent campaign has seen him finish every race inside the top six, including a brilliant first two race wins in the championship at Knockhill last month.
Liam McNeilly (Fox Motorsport) has been a revelation in his second season in the championship and sits just eight points behind Millar in the standings. A race-winner on three occasions, he’s picked up one more podium finish than the leader.
Seb Hopkins (Elite Motorsport) remains firmly in the title mix, sitting 30 points off the top. An impressive season has seen him pick up ten podium finishes, more than anyone else, however a maiden race win has eluded him so far.
In stark contrast, Callum Voisin (R Racing) has recorded a sensational seven race victories across his debut season. That puts him in the rookie class points lead, however Ginetta Junior scholar Robert de Haan (Richardson Racing) closed the gap at Thruxton last time out with a maiden pair of overall wins.
Will Jenkins (Elite Motorsport) and Josh Miller (R Racing) have been regular fixtures in the leading pack this season, each securing four podium finishes. Josh Rowledge (Elite Motorsport) has a first overall podium in his sights to add to his 12 pieces of rookie silverware.
Joe Wheeler (Assetto Motorsport) holds podium aspirations after picking up a seasons’ best fourth place finish at Thruxton, as does his team-mate Max Dodds and Freddie Tomlinson (R Racing). Aqil Alibhai (Breakell Racing) and Joe Warhurst (Elite Motorsport) are ones to watch, having scored best ever results of sixth and seventh respectively last time out.
Harri Reynolds (Assetto Motorsport) has made great progress this season, accumulating three rookie class podiums along the way, while team-mate Jamie Osborne joins James Higgins (Preptech UK) as two of the midfield regulars with potential for breakthrough results.
Fergus Chalmers (Preptech UK) is full of confidence after a maiden top ten finish last time out, while Edward Pearson (Richardson Racing) just missed out with a seasons’ best 11th. Ian Aguilera (R Racing) scored his top ten breakthrough back at Brands Hatch.
The ultra-competitive entry also features regular points finishers in Ginetta Junior scholar Maurice Henry (Fox Motorsport), Jacob Hodgkiss (Race Car Consultants), Oliver Flashman (Richardson Racing), Adam Brown (Ultimate Speed Racing) and Elite Motorsport duo Max Hall and Jack Sherwood.
The Ginetta Junior grid is growing this weekend with the introduction of an exciting group of championship debutants; Haydn Chance (Preptech UK), Thomas Jack Lee (Race Car Consultants) and Luke Watts (R Racing).
