MDD Racing Announce 2025 Entries Including Father-Son Duo

MDD Racing’s father and son duo Paul and Felix Livesey will be entering their third consecutive season of Ginetta racing this year as part of the latest group of drivers to be announced for the 2025 grids.

Felix Livesey (pictured above) will be embarking on his third and final season in the Ginetta Junior Championship this year. After scoring some top ten finishes in his maiden campaign in 2023, the 16-year-old racer established himself as a regular presence in the leading pack last year and scored a best result so far of fifth overall at Donington Park.

Felix Livesey:

“I’m happy to be back with MDD for the 2025 season. I’m hoping we can carry the momentum we have built over the past 18 months into our final Junior campaign and achieve positive results together and further build on our success going forward.”

Scott McKenna, MDD Racing:

“I’m excited to see Felix embark on his last year in the Ginetta Junior Championship with us. We’ve been working closely with Felix over winter and we’re confident that as a team we’re well positioned for a positive season.”

Paul Livesey meanwhile returned to racing for the first time in more than a decade when he made his Ginetta debut in the GT Academy in 2023. After scoring an AM podium during a one-off appearance in the Ginetta GT Championship to start 2024, Livesey returned to the GT Academy grid and scored five GTA podiums including a breakthrough class victory at Anglesey.

Paul Livesey:

“I’m looking forward to the 2025 season with MDD’s tuition and collaborative support which will no doubt bring continued improvement to my ability and results.”

Scott McKenna:

“It’s fantastic to have Paul back on the GT Academy grid this season. We’re looking to build further on his previous GT and GTA championship experience from 2024 and chase the top step of the podium throughout this year.”

A new Junior recruit for MDD Racing is Australian racer George Proudford-Nalder, who will be making his car-racing debut following a successful domestic karting career that included twice winning the Southern Star Series title. After initially testing a Ginetta G40 Junior in his homeland last year, Proudford-Nalder reached the final day of the hotly-contested 2025 Ginetta Junior Scholarship contest.

George Proudford-Nalder:

“I am really excited to be with MDD for my first year in Ginetta’s. I have been karting in Australia since I was nine, but racing in cars has always been my dream. The team have been great during testing and I’ve learnt so much already. Having the chance to race on multiple F1 tracks is going to be really cool. I can’t wait for the season to start.”

Scott McKenna:

“I believe we have a very promising driver in George this year. From coaching him and watching him operate throughout his test days so far, I am thoroughly impressed with his hunger and passion for constant improvement. It’s fantastic to have him with us.”

MDD Racing are also bringing another new face to the Ginetta paddock in Louis Darling. He enters the GT Academy for his first year of Ginetta competition having been a front-runner in the Caterham Academy Championship last season, scoring multiple podium-finishes and a top five championship finish.

Louis Darling:

“I am looking forward to be racing in the Ginetta GT Academy in 2025 and to improve my driving ability with the support of MDD. Hopefully bringing home some trophies throughout the year!”

Scott McKenna:

“It’s a pleasure to be welcoming Louis into the team and onto the GT Academy grid for the 2025. After having coached Louis I am more than positive that as the season progresses he will find himself towards the front of the grid consistently fighting for podiums.”

Alongside MDD’s Junior pairing, leading squad Fox Motorsport have also announced their first driver for the championship. 15-year-old driver Freddie Lloyd will make his car-racing debut after a successful karting career that included winning the IAME X30 Junior European Championship title in 2023 and finishing runner-up in the British X30 Senior Championship last year.

Freddie Lloyd:

“I’m so excited to step up to Ginetta Juniors with Fox Motorsport and to start the next chapter of my racing career. I’ve only had one day in the Ginetta so far at Brands Hatch, but I turned up not knowing how to drive and ended the day in pretty good shape thanks to the coaching from Jamie [Stanley]. I’ll be practicing hard on the sim and if we can do a good job in testing then I’m sure we can arrive at the first round of the season in good shape and ready to score some strong results.”

Paul McNeilly, Fox Motorsport:

“Freddie’s a huge talent, as his successes in the UK and Europe in X30 karting over the past two seasons have proved. We first came into contact with Freddie several years ago and have kept a close eye on his progress ever since. The speed with which he adapted to the demands of the Ginetta Junior car on his first test at Brands Hatch last December was astonishing so it’s now on us to give him the best pre-season we possibly can so he’s ready for Donington in April.”
