2024 Ginetta Junior Teams’ champions R Racing have confirmed they will return to defend their title next season with a capacity entry of six new Ginetta G40 Junior Evo’s.
Since joining the championship in 2019, R Racing have become one of the most successful teams in Ginetta Junior history with more than 70 race wins, over 150 podium finishes and twelve championship titles under their belt.
This season, R Racing have already wrapped up their fourth Teams’ Championship success in five years, whilst Ethan Jeff-Hall has secured their third Rookie Drivers’ title. Jeff-Hall and Chase Fernandez are heading into the season finale in contention to win the team a fourth consecutive overall Drivers’ crown, whilst they are also two-time Winter Series victors.
2025 marks the start of an exciting new era for the championship with the introduction of the striking Ginetta G40 Junior Evo, with the Norfolk-based team aiming to become the first-ever champions with the new car with a six-driver entry that will include a Red Bull-backed talent.
Jamie Ross – R Racing Director: “We are delighted to commit to another full team entry in the Ginetta Junior Championship next year. Off the back of another Teams’ Championship in 2024, we hope 2025 will be just as successful.
“R Racing would like to thank Ginetta for their five-year commitment to the championship and we are excited to compete with the new Evo package in 2025. We have a busy and hopefully very productive winter test programme and with this, hope to have all six grey cars right at the sharp end once again!”
Ginetta is introducing a range of enhancements for 2025 to keep every rung of its unique motorsport ladder at the front of the grid for years to come, including the introduction of the Ginetta G40 Junior Evo. More information can be found here.
