An exciting addition to the championship for 2021, the GT Pro class is aimed as a stepping stone into GT racing for young drivers. Entrants will compete in an uprated version of Ginetta’s G55 GTA car, with a prize pot in excess of £55,000 up for grabs.
Angliss makes the step up to the GT4 SuperCup grid after tackling his car-racing debut in the GT5 Challenge this year. Joining the grid for the final three rounds of the season, the 17 year old made an immediate impression with Richardson Racing.
The Coventry based racer scored a top ten finish on his debut weekend in the ultra-competitive championship and went on to record a best result of sixth on two occasions at Silverstone. With that experience under his belt, he’s ready to make the next step on the Ginetta ladder.
Blake Angliss: “I believe that the GT Pro class is a natural progression in my racing career and will help me learn a lot for racing in the future. With my limited time in cars, the class is a good step up and will not only benefit myself but other young drivers paving their way in motorsport.
“For me, I find that the Ginetta GTA car feels like a true race car, from the sound, the looks and the way it handles. It’s an exhilarating experience to drive the car with all the power under my right foot and I’m excited to race it.
“Century Motorsport are a very professional team with lots of success in the GT4 SuperCup. I think the team can help me to develop on what I have learnt from my past racing experience and I’m looking forward to working with them and going for a title challenge next season.”
Century Motorsport are the first team to confirm their entry into the GT Pro class. The Warwickshire based outfit are no strangers to the GT4 SuperCup, having previously won the overall title with Tom Oliphant (2015) and the Am class honours with Michael Crees (2018) and Nathan Heathcote (2019).

The Ginetta GT4 SuperCup is Ginetta’s flagship championship. In 2021, the series will be contested over eight race weekends in support of the British Touring Car Championship.
