Ginetta proved their racing credentials in Europe once again as the G50 GT4 car landed a one-two finish in the Norwegian GT Championship earlier this month.
Andre Falkenhaug made light work of the opposition in his qualifying session, with a fastest lap of 56.9 seconds, a massive 1.6 seconds faster than the Porsche GT3 cup 996.
In the first race Andre made the start, and had opened up a healthy gap from the Porsche of John B. Roligheten behind, and the stable-mate Ginetta of Aleksander T. Schjerpen in third, before problems saw him fall down the order and into a final position of third.
In race two, Andre started from second on the grid, and went straight in to the lead and stayed there for the remainder of the race, bringing the car home for a solid win.
Aleksander had a good start and was third from the grid, a good fight with the Porsche of John B. eventually secured him a third-placed finish and a one-two for Ginetta.
Championship standings
Andre Falkenhaug 12 + 40 = 52 points
Aleksander T Schjerpen 15 + 30 = 45 points
