FIELDING TESTS AHEAD OF OULTON
Front running Ginetta Junior racer Sennan Fielding heads to Croft in North Yorkshire at the weekend to test ahead of his next race at Oulton Park.
With the next two rounds of the championship 4 weeks away, Sennan and the team at “JHR Developments” are using track time wisely to help perfect the cars set up, and get some experience of the circuit before the BTCC arrives 2 weeks after the Oulton event.
Sennan commented “We are hoping for a productive day and to be on the pace. We’re also looking to come away with a good set up that works on the car.”
Going into Oulton, Sennan sits poised in 3rd place with only 5 points separating him from Niall Murray of Douglas Motorsport.
A fantastic result at the 2nd round at Donington catapulted Sennan to the head of the championship table. However a troubled Thruxton saw the 16 year old from Sutton Scarsdale in Derbyshire drop 2 places to 3rd.
Knowing that both car and driver are capable of delivering the results needed to head the championship, it will be all to play for over the coming months.
