Fresh from a 1-2 finish in the previous round at Paul Ricard last month, a quartet of G57’s are ready to take on the rapid 3.8 km Dijon-Prenois circuit this weekend (23 -25 June).
Simpson Motorsport arrives with a two-car entry; the first being the #52 pairing of Sennan Fielding and Jordan Sanders. Although the duo has shown exceptional speed and promise throughout practice and qualifying, bad luck in the races has left them chasing a maiden win this weekend.
Joining the pair at the Simpson Motorsport squad for another weekend of G57 development is Ginetta owner Lawrence Tomlinson. The 2016 PFV class champion will once again partner Ginetta Development Driver Charlie Robertson in the #32 car.
Paul Ricard race winner Mike Simpson switches to the Pegasus Motorsport outfit for the Dijon weekend. Although he took the victory with the Simpson Motorsport team, the Ginetta Factory Driver will join Neale Muston behind the wheel of the #57 car as the Australian racer returns following a class podium last time out. Completing the Ginetta entry are V de V regulars Julien Schell and Stephane Raffin. The French duo are the second entry for Schell’s Pegasus Racing team and will once again compete at the helm of the #29 entry.
The action gets underway on Friday June 23 with one hour and 45 minutes of free practice. Saturday will host a one and a quarter hour of qualifying before the race gets underway at 14:10 local time on Sunday June 25.
