John Surtees OBE; “Ginetta played a special part in the life of Henry and myself. Following a very enjoyable and instructive period in karting, Henry asked me about the possibility of driving a car. Looking at what was available, the Ginetta junior was the answer to learn new circuits and techniques as well as getting an understanding of car setup. His first win at Snetterton was very special. We are delighted that Ginetta continue to support Henry through the Henry Surtees Foundation.”
Charlie Robertson, Ginetta Factory Driver and HSF Brooklands Team Challenge Team Manager; "I'm really looking forward to returning to the Henry Surtees Brooklands Team Karting Challenge, and representing Ginetta whilst raising money for such a great and important cause. It was a fantastic event last year and full of action all the way through. Not only that, but I’m looking to get our title back this year!”
Stuart Middleton, Driver; “Thanks to Ginetta for this brilliant opportunity. It’s fantastic to be a part of such a poignant charity event, and to race alongside talent such as Mike, Charlie and Will really does stand us in great stead to take some silverware!”
Will Tregurtha, Driver; “It will be a real thrill to race in the Henry Surtees Karting Challenge. It is a great cause and a brilliant event for a young driver like myself to be involved in. It is also going to be a fantastic opportunity to spend time with - and learn from - the two Ginetta factory drivers Mike Simpson and Charlie Robertson. They are great examples for me to follow.”
Each year the HSF Team Karting Challenge receives tremendous support from a host of star names from the world of motorsport, business and the entertainment industry and 2016 will be no exception. The action-packed day is a ‘must do’ event for all motorsport enthusiasts.
