Keen blogger Stefan Nadarajan has today become the latest driver to announce his progression from the 2015 Ginetta Racing Drivers Club into the British GT-supporting GRDC+ series.
A track day enthusiast prior to obtaining his ARDS race licence with Ginetta, Royal Automobile Club member Nadarajan put his hours of experience behind the wheel into practice last season. A great year saw him placed just outside the top 10 in the series standings.
This year, the 46 year old from Epsom, Surrey, is aiming for some consistent top 10 results and hopes a relaxed attitude to racing will give him the edge. After all, the GRDC is designed to be an enjoyable weekend away, not another day in a 100mph office!
Stefan Nadarajan, driver;“The Ginetta Racing Drivers Club was everything I expected and more! Getting involved with Ginetta has been like joining an extended family, it’s been a fantastic first season. I was probably the least competitive person on the super competitive grid in 2015, but I’m going to relax and just go for it this season!”
Hayley Hickmore, Ginetta Championships Coordinator;“We’re thrilled to have Stefan back in 2016. He’s been great fun to have in the paddock, and you can tell he really has a deep rooted passion for cars and racing, so it’s great to see him living out that love with the rest of the Ginetta family.”
For 2016, the GRDC+ grid is bigger than ever, as the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club class of 2015 join those who joined Ginetta for the inaugural season in 2014. With that in mind, the 2016 GRDC+ calendar will feature both standalone races and outings as part of the Ginetta GT5 Challenge grid.
