Will Tregutha is to contest the 2016 Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Championship with HHC Motorsport, after announcing plans to return to the British Touring Car Championship support series today (18/01/2016).
Having made his debut in the championship last season, following a graduation from the Super One Karting Championship, Will finished inside the top five of the Rookie class thanks to five class podiums as part of the RCE team.
Switching to HHC Motorsport for the Junior Winter Series at Snetterton in November, Will then went on to take his first outright podium at the event, finishing the weekend as fifth overall out of 19 drivers. Buoyed by his success, Will is aiming for more podiums and battle for the drivers’ championship in 2016.

With more races than ever before, the 2016 Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Championship see’s five additional rounds added to the calendar, with three races scheduled at Donington Park, Croft, Knockhill, Rockingham and Silverstone.
Committed to supporting driver development, the Junior prize package is designed to encouraged progression through the formulae. The winner of the Junior series will be loaned a Ginetta G55 GT4 car to be used in the 2017 Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup.
