Breeze, White, Blomstedt, Wall & Belshaw Join Team LNT For VdeV

Carl Breeze, Colin White, Fredrik Blomstedt, John Wall and Peter Belshaw are set to join Ginetta Factory Driver Mike Simpson at Team LNT, in the upcoming VdeV Endurance Championship at Estoril this weekend.

In the season finale of VdeV, Team LNT will once again field a pair of Ginetta Prototypes, with Mike Simpson joined at the wheel by Swedish GT racer Fredrik Blomstedt and Ginetta Racing Drivers Club graduate John Wall.

In a second car, Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup regulars Carl Breeze and Colin White team up with Peter Belshaw, who will make his Ginetta debut this weekend.

Mike Simpson – Team LNT Ginetta Prototype:“What a line-up at Team LNT this weekend! Two Ginetta stalwarts and some fantastic GT racers, who have set the scene for some strong results for the factory team. It’s the first time any of them will have driven the car and it will be the first endurance race for at least two of the drivers, but needless to say, I’m looking forward to giving them all the ultimate customer test drive, and showing just what the car can do!”

These latest additions to the team mean Ginetta will have introduced no less than eight new drivers to this year’s VdeV Endurance Championship, with other names including Glyn Geddie, Morten Dons, Alexander Schjerpen to name a few.

With podium results in all of Team LNT’s VdeV appearances so far this year – including a race win at Paul Ricard in August - Team LNT will be looking for similar success this weekend.

Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Pro and Am champions - Tom Oliphant and Colin White - were offered the Factory drive in Team LNT’s second car as part of their championship win. With Oliphant unable to accept his prize due to diary commitments, runner-up Carl Breeze stepped up to the plate.

With plans for their new-for-2016 car, the Ginetta G57, unveiled this week, Ginetta has further cemented the strength of progression in their career ladder. Delivering some of the quickest lap times for cars of this genre, the G57 will be spectacular to drive and an affordable entry into Prototype racing for all level of driver grade, experience and ambition.
