Elite Motorsport Ready For Junior Winter Series

Elite Motorsport can confirm a two-car entry into the 2015 KICK Start Energy Drink Ginetta Junior Winter Series next weekend, with Geri Nicosia returning to the team, alongside newcomer, Harry King.

Geri Nicosia who has raced with the team throughout the 2015 season has a proven history of success at Snetterton, having finished fourth overall in the 2014 winter series, and taking a rookie podium during the main championships visit to Norfolk earlier this year.

With the top three drivers from last year’s Winter Series not returning, Geri will be looking to build on a strong finish after the team gained 15 places in the season finale at Brands Hatch. He said; “We’ve been getting stronger and stronger all year and despite not always getting the results, we’ve shown our potential so hopefully we can put the pieces together and bring back a crown or two this weekend!”

Harry King, fresh from the Ginetta Junior Scholarship at Bedford last week looks to make his debut at Snetterton. Harry made it into the final three out of 65 entered competitors for the scholarship but narrowly missed out on the top prize.

Harry is currently leading the Whilton Mill Championship in Mini Max and said; “The Scholarship was an amazing experience learning a huge amount in a very short period of time. The winter series will be a new surrounding to me but I’m looking forward to the challenge and can’t wait to join the grid with Elite Motorsport.”

Eddie Ives of Elite Motorsport concluded; ‘I’m very pleased to be running both cars next weekend, both Geri and Harry have exceeded expectations in testing over the past few weeks and I am very excited to see how they race in what, no doubt will be four very tightly contested races.”
