When the Amigos Tequila Flavoured Beer Ginetta G55 took the chequered flag last weekend at Brands Hatch (11 October), it was victory for perhaps the fastest piece of street art ever created.
To mark the end of the season in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup, the Amigos-backed racer of Michael Caine was transformed into a spectacular piece of high-speed street art.
Amigos arranged for leading muralist and street artist Pete Barber to spray paint the 160mph race car in time for the races at the famous Kent race track and it looked sensational as Caine stormed to victory in the most competitive field of the season.
A record-breaking crowd of 42,000 race fans were on hand to see the car and hundreds of thousands more watched the action live on ITV4.
To celebrate street art further, Amigos is running a competition to celebrate the ‘Day of the Dead’ parties and there is a chance to win limited edition Amigos art skulls designed by leading street artists.
