David Pittard Announces Late-Entry Into Silverstone SuperCup

British Racing Drivers Club “Rising Star” David Pittard is set to return to the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup this weekend, after signing a late deal to contest the pair of races at his home circuit, Silverstone.

The 2014 Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Vice Champion will replace previously announced Filipino driver Jose Policarpio, who is now unable to attend.

Having enjoyed a perfect weekend in Northamptonshire last year, where he scored maximum points, David is sure to be going for gold in front of his home crowd!

Pittard said; “I will approach this weekend with an open mind. I’ve driven a G55 only three times since I was here last year where we had an amazing weekend. There have been a number of car changes that I will need to get used to as well as a new team. I hope I’m able to hook it up for qualifying to give myself the best shot of mixing it amongst the championship regulars!”
