After a two-month break, Euro Series by Nova Race is set to hit the track again this weekend (4th, 5th, 6th September), for the fourth out of six double rounds of the 2015 calendar.
Following Paul Ricard, Slovakiaring and Spielberg, the championship launched this year by the Italian promoter, lands in one of most fascinating and selective track, at Spa-Francorchamps, with an interesting, various and international starting grid.
With two victories under his belt, scored in France and Austria with the Renault Mégane Trophy lined up by AKF Motorsport, Oliver Freymouth is the current leader. Same car for Luca Magnoni, who showed his consistency taking the fourth place in the championship. While Manuel Lasagni - who won the Le Castellet race with another English GT4 racecar - will miss the weekend, the other confirmed Italian drivers are Roberto Gentili, sharing his Ginetta G50 with Argentinean José Manuel Balbiani, and Alberto Vescovi, representing the Nova Race leader team.
The other Argentinean Diego Raul Mendez and José Luis Talerman will drive a similar car, as well as Bulgarian Simeon Ivanov-Ivallo Tzonev and Mark Speakerwas, the latter set for his comeback on one of his favourite track after some months far from racing.
To complete the grid there will be a Lotus Evora driven by other Bulagarian Pavel Lefterov (ASC Bulavto), a BMW M3 GT4 of Swedish crew Oscar Kruger-Thomas Martinsson (Bald Eagle Racing) and a Ginetta G55 of Buggy Experience shared by Spaniard Javier Ibran and Dutchman Mathijs Bakker. Still to confirm the participation of a second Renault Mégane by AKF Motorsport.
