An amazing opportunity awaits one talented novice racing driver with a main prize on offer of a fully funded Ginetta GRDC season on offer for 2016.
Competition organiser’s want2race, along with Ginetta Cars of Leeds, are on the nation-wide hunt for aspiring, talented novice racers over the age of 18 years to join the competition.
Already in its third year, and growing in popularity and prowess each year, want2race provides a platform for hundreds of drivers to experience real racing cars and get behind the wheel of the fantastic Ginetta GRDC Club car out on circuit.
Entrants still have one month to register and enter this year’s competition, with go-karting qualification sessions run across the UK at 14 want2race partner venues.
Ben Hyland, want2race organiser, explains the process; “You don’t necessarily have to be an avid karter, we are looking for a broad selection of drivers to make it through to Bedford Autodrome who will then get to drive our fleet of race cars, sat next to World class instructors and drivers. Qualification sessions are around thirty minutes long each, and we encourage anyone who’s always wanted the chance to prove their worth out on circuit to get involved.”
The main prize for 2015 is a fully funded season in the Ginetta GRDC 2016 – the ideal platform for any novice driver to enter the Motorsport World. The main prize fund includes car hire for the season, race entries for the 8 round Championship, insurance, fuel, tyres, Ginetta race suit, helmet, hans, gloves, boots, weekend technical support and driver tuition.
Qualification runs up until 30thSeptember 2015. Further details can be found on the Ginetta website or at www.want2race.co.uk
