FARA: Team Ginetta USA makes a 1-2-3 at Homestead

The 2015 Formula & Automobile Racing Association Summer Challenge on August 24thin Homestead saw the first win in North-American motorsport scene for Brazilian Stock Car five times Champion Cacá Bueno.

Cacá Bueno disputed the penultimate round of FARA’s 2014/2015 season partnering the also Brazilian Kreis Jr. at the wheel of a Ginetta G55 for Team Ginetta USA. The Florida based Brazilian squad had a sensational weekend by also conquering  all top three positions in MP-1A division with Brazilian doubles Nonô Figueiredo/Marcio Basso (second place) and Giuliano Losacco/Alexandre Molles (third).

Figueiredo and Losacco also are accomplished Stock Car racers in Brazil, with Giulianno having one national Stock Car title under his belt. “At this kind of racing, it is important setting up a well-balanced car which will offer good speed without compromising the overall performance in the long run”, pointed race winner Cacá Bueno.

“We are very happy with the performance of all of our team. All five cars completed the race. We won the race and are leading the championship in three classes with Kreis Jr. (MP-1A), Adolpho Rossi (MP-2A) and Alline Cipriani (MP-4A). Besides that for the first time we had three Brazilian Stock Car racers at the wheel of our cars. They are a very experienced and accomplished group of drivers who are used to racing not only in Brazil but also in Europe. All of them got to the podium, which is fantastic for us”, said Oscar Chanoski, chief-engineer for Team Ginetta USA.

Team Ginetta weekend results were also highlighted by other two achievements. Alline Cipriani, who is the running MP-4A division champion, took her first FARA win driving alongside her husband, Adolpho Rossi – who is the running leader of MP-2A division and may become champion of that series for the second time.

“I am very happy because, even being the 2014 MP-4A champion, I had never gotten a victory. This Sunday I achieved that dream. It was a very hot and difficult round which proved our team is strong and competitive in all classes we compete”, said Cipriani.

The results of the weekend also proved the strength of British Ginetta racing cars prepared by the Brazilian team in Florida. The victory in the MP-1A class, the fastest touring car division, was achieved by facing opposition.
