Team LNT are looking forward to another successful weekend in round two of the European Le Mans Series, which takes place at Imola next weekend (May 16/17), with the two-car outfit looking to further extend their championship lead.
Following a storming start to their LMP3 project which saw Team LNT secure a 1-2 finish for their Ginetta-Nissan LMP3 car in the season opener at Silverstone just under a month ago, the team now prepare to travel to Italy for the second date on the five-date calendar.
During the gap in the ELMS calendar since the opening round, Team LNT returned to action at Silverstone by linking-up with Ginetta Cars Chairman Lawrence Tomlinson, for the Dunlop 24 Hour Race and delivering an excellent performance secured a richly-deserved class podium.
The LMP3 will make its maiden appearance at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit at Imola during two free practice sessions next Saturday, 16th May. Qualifying will follow at 10.30 (local time) on Sunday, 17th May, with the 4 Hours of Imola beginning at 14.00 (local time).
Live coverage of the race will be screened in the UK on Motors TV. For a look back at the action and press conference interviews from round one of the ELMS season, visit www.dailymotion.com/ELMS
