Ginetta’s Italian outfit distributer are working hard to prepare for their new-for-2015 Michelin-backed Euro Series by Nova Race, with the opening round taking place on the 26th of April at the Paul Ricard circuit, in support of the GT Open.
Open to GT4 specification cars and with an agreement in place from SRO, the series will guarantee a perfect balance to let everyone to fight for the top positions. Different cars with equal performance will share the same grid, whilst the technical bureau will attend every race weekend for the usual scrutineering and to maintain a well-balanced and crowded grid.
With the entry fee just €2,000 per round (including Friday practice sessions) the series is already enjoying unprecedented interest, bolstered by the fact that those paying for five rounds, receive the sixth free of charge.
The 2015 calendar consists of six rounds in five different countries, with a total of 12 races, each lasting 50/60 minutes, with each event supporting a prestigious international championship. Round two will be hosted by the Slovakia Ring round (21st June) together with the FIA WTCC.
The third round will be host by the Austrian track of Red Bull Ring on 5th July, with the GT Open again, whilst the Belgian venue of Spa-Francorchamps will host the sixth round, on 6th September. The last two rounds are scheduled for 27th September at Misano and 18th October at Mugello, together with the Italian GT, with live TV coverage at all events.
More over Nova Race will be present at every track with a “racing village” area, fully equipped with driving simulator, wellness truck with sauna and hydro shower, plus a iPhone app and secretary service.
