Ginetta to provide prizes for FKS Junior and Vice Champion

Ginetta Cars can today confirm their plans to further extend their commitment to supporting kart racers in their motorsport career progression, by offering a prize to both the champion and vice-champion of the FKS Junior class. The prize will see the top two FKS Junior class racers receive a fast-track entry into the Ginetta Junior Scholarship for 2016, which could see one of the pair win a fully funded season in the KICK Start Energy Drink Ginetta Junior Championship.

Carolynn Hoy, Chairman of Formula Kart Stars said; “I am delighted that Ginetta and FKS have once again joined forces in supporting young talent. The prize provided gives our drivers a fantastic opportunity to progress their careers from karting to car racing in a championship where a number of our alumni have enjoyed great success."

Ginetta has a proven track record of providing a path to the upper levels of motorsport, with many of their alumni now racing in British GT, BTCC and the Le Mans Series. Furthermore, a number of FKS ‘Old Boys and Girls’ have progressed through the Ginetta championships and are now enjoying successful careers in motorsport.

Formula Kart Stars Official Launch and Test Day will take place over the 9th/10th April at Whilton Mill Circuit, Daventry with Rounds 1&2 commencing on the 1st - 3rd May.
